story

Starting out in the kitchen at Capri in Wakefield, Armando learnt a lot about Italian food and has now opened his own restaurant in Chapel Allerton. He’s forever grateful to the Capri family and so pleased to find his new home here in North Leeds.

With a Moortown postcode but based in Chapel Allerton we are on the edge of Gledhow Valley Woods and we like to think that Roundhay, Oakwood and Meanwood are so close we are practically neighbours.

I had a lovely lunch in Capri today. This is a little gem a bit hidden. I had Tagliatelle Stroganoff, divine 😋 and my friend had a Lasagna dish which she literally polished, meringue with fruit and ice cream for dessert. A small place with a nice background music and lovely decoration inside. A place you definitely want to revisit! Very happy with the service too 😊
